Industrial
Site Security
Last year, Timberland Security expanded
their services to include industrial sites. Often a mixture
of undeveloped or environmental lands and production facilities,
our experience and versatility have proven invaluable.
The law enforcement
background of our Resource Protection Officers gives them
the demeanor to effectively interact with the plant personnel
and the experience to respond to situations that may arise.

Facility Security Director and
RPO Supervisor.
The typical industrial
security force includes a Security Director, to oversee all
plant security operations; Resource Protection Officers, to
act as roving supervisors; and Security Officers, to man gates,
scales, and CCTV Systems.
The Security Director
is a Resource Protection Officer that has security management
experience. He will be a salaried employee that is on call
24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

RPO Inspecting a Tractor-Trailer.
One or more Resource
Protection Officers are assigned to a shift. Their duties
involve the supervision of Security Officers, roving patrols,
report documentation, and inspections of sensitive facilities.
Resource Protection Officers typically patrol the site in
two-wheel drive Polaris® Professional Series UTV’s.
Four-wheel drive equipment will be provided as needed to patrol
undeveloped or environmental lands.

Security Officer Manning a Guard Gate
Security Officers are
used to man guard gates, operate scales, and monitor CCTV
systems. Utilized in this capacity, Security Officers can
save a client approximately 10% over a Resource Protection
Officer in the same position.
